●Technical Indicators of Ceramic Filling Metering Pump
1. Loading volume: 0.2--50ML;2. Operating temperature: 10~40℃;
3. Filling accuracy standard: when the filling volume is less than 2ML, the upper and lower deviation does not exceed ±1%; when the filling volume is more than 2ML, the upper and lower deviation does not exceed ±0.5%.
The product has been tested for air tightness and installed on the filling machine for filling accuracy test before leaving the factory: the accuracy test method uses pure drinking water as the medium, adopts the gravimetric method to calculate the average value, upper deviation and lower deviation.
● Structure and Principle of Ceramic Metering Pumps
1. The ceramic filling metering pump is composed of ceramic metering components (ceramic pump sleeve, rotary valve, metering rod), stainless steel inlet and outlet nozzles and connectors.
2. Working principle of ceramic filling metering pump:
- The mouth of the rotary valve is aligned with the liquid inlet, and the downward linear movement of the ceramic column generates negative pressure and sucks the liquid;
- The mouth of the rotary valve is aligned with the liquid outlet, and the upward linear movement of the ceramic column generates positive pressure and discharges the liquid.
● Assembly of Ceramic Pump And Connection With Filling Machine
1. Since the ceramic rod and the ceramic sleeve are precision fittings, the gap is small and cannot be interchanged; the products have been numbered before leaving the factory and cannot be interchanged during cleaning and assembly.
2. Before installing the machine, make sure that the sealing parts are installed in place and must not leak.
3. The assembly gap with each part of the filling machine must be eliminated (the assembly gap will cause the stroke to change, resulting in inaccurate measurement), and the coaxiality of the moving parts must be guaranteed (affecting the service life of the pump and the filling accuracy).
● Cleaning and Sterilization of Ceramic Filling Pump
1. Cleaning procedure:
After cleaning with pure water, rinse with injection liquid;
For long-term storage and initial use, it is necessary to remove the pyrogen, soak it in 1~2% NaoH for 30 minutes, be careful not to use hot lye (the temperature should not be higher than 40 ℃), and the sealing ring should not be soaked in lye for too long, otherwise the elasticity will change.
2. Sterilization procedure:
Dry heat sterilization or high-pressure moist heat steam can be used for sterilization: but since the sealing ring can only withstand a temperature of 160 °C, the sealing ring should be removed before the dry heat, and the sealing ring should be sterilized by high-pressure moist heat steam. (It is recommended to use high-pressure moist heat steam for sterilization, the sterilization temperature is 121°C, the pressure is 0.1MPa, and the time is 30 minutes).
3. Notes on cleaning and sterilization:
- Do not use chlorine-containing chemical solutions to contact stainless steel to prevent corrosion of stainless steel parts.
- Do not pull the ceramic metering components in hot water over 40°C during cleaning. The ceramic plunger and ceramic sleeve should be cleaned separately.
- When sterilizing, the rotary valve, ceramic sleeve and measuring rod should be placed in a special sterilization box separately, and the ceramic rod and ceramic sleeve should be hung vertically for moist heat sterilization to prevent deformation and bending due to heat; The temperature of each component naturally drops to room temperature before installation operation. Before the temperature of the pump body drops to room temperature, damage to each component due to sudden cooling should be avoided.
- Since the hardness of ceramics is greater than that of metals, the contact between ceramics and metals can make the surface of ceramics dirty, so a small amount of concentrated sulfuric acid (hydrochloric acid) can be used for cleaning; if there is yellow dirt on the pump body, it can be soaked in 10% oxalic acid for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse with injection liquid.
- Since the hardness of ceramics is greater than that of stainless steel, the contact between ceramics and stainless steel can make the surface of ceramics adhere to stainless steel and cannot be removed, which may cause the filling pump to run poorly or not move and cause damage. It is recommended to use non-metallic materials as storage containers for cleaning and sterilization.
