Material Introduction


Advanced ceramics are brittle, however, Zirconia Ceramic is the "strongest" advanced ceramic because of its highest fracture toughness among advanced ceramics. Same as other advanced ceramics, ZrO2 Ceramic is hard, wear & corrosion resistant, electrical insulated(under low temperature environment)... Zirconium Oxide is also widely used in different industries, but unlike other advanced ceramics which normally "hide" in their applications, Zirconia can be more easily found in people's life, like zirconia knives and scissors, zirconia blades assembled box cutters, smart phones' cover plates... UNIPRETEC mainly supplies Yttria Stabilized Tetragonal Zirconia Ceramic components.
